Topping-out ceremony in Hamburg-Wilhelmsburg.

11.09.2024 – Last week, the Reiherstieg parish and the Evangelical Lutheran Church District of Hamburg East, as investors, celebrated the topping-out ceremony for a new residential neighbourhood in Hamburg's Wilhelmsburg district together with builders and planners.

The shell for a total of 90 rental flats — 60 of which are barrier-free — is almost complete.

The significance of the building site as the former location of the Paul Gerhardt Church was emphasised in the welcoming speeches. Now the first tenants will soon be moving into new, modern flats here. The building, with a total area of 8,500 square metres of living and usable space, is scheduled for completion in spring next year.

Architect: MEIXNER SCHLÜTER WENDT Planungs GmbH. Structural engineering: INGENIEURBÜRO DR. BINNEWIES.
