24.06.2024 - As part of the public lecture series "Seminar for Structural Engineering" at the Technical University of Braunschweig, we will report (in German) on the planned and implemented repair measures on the Taubenstein Bridge in Wetzlar. We will present the challenges encountered, the solutions and the implementation of the repair measures.
Taubenstein Bridge is on the busy B49 road between Wetzlar and Gießen. Increasing traffic volumes had made it necessary to strengthen the bridge.
