07.05.2026 – A topping-out ceremony was recently held in Hamburg-Bahrenfeld for a housing project specifically aimed at socially disadvantaged people.
The project was highlighted as a successful example of how Hamburg is responding to urban growth whilst also taking action to help those who, due to their circumstances, face difficulties in the housing market. The excellent cooperation between all those involved was also emphasised.
The structural work for the first phase, comprising 33 flats, has been completed. The flats are due to be occupied later this year, offering the new tenants an affordable home in this vibrant neighbourhood. The second phase is already planned and is due to be completed by August 2027. This will result in a total of 83 residential units.
