04.07.2024 - New planning contract for a historic building on the Outer Alster in Hamburg!
The distinctive building complex is still well known as the little "White House", both in Hamburg and beyond. The American Consulate General has been based in the two villas on the Outer Alster since 1951.
Now a new chapter is beginning in the history of the venerable building ensemble. The Munich-based DERAG Group will develop a special hotel with catering facilities in the magnificent rooms. The INGENIEURBÜRO DR. BINNEWIES has been commissioned with the structural engineering for the conversion and the new building, continuing the successful collaboration with DERAG on the boutique hotel in Büschstraße.
We are delighted to be involved in the planning of this special building in Hamburg and that its history can soon continue to be written.
