Symbiosis between nature and architecture.

The building’s structure is ingenious. The rectangular shape of the site, slightly deformed to a parallelogram with sides of a length of 150 m, is repeated in its interior by a two-storey plinth with the communal areas.

Above this, each floating on six pillars, four office units on two floors dock onto the central access cores in the four corners of the plinth – like the arms of a windmill. Building services, archives and 500 parking spaces are accommodated in the 1st and 2nd basement storeys extending across the whole site.

The most striking element of the new construction is the floating, 10 m high steel hedge construction that surrounds the building complex at upper storey level. In a steel net mounted on the structure, wild vines and wisteria spread their branches, winding their way up from the soil on over 100 thin creeper cables.

Dreams need security.
