Apartment building at Dillstraße D11 is "Building of the Year".
15.11.2022 - The AIV Hamburg has made its decision: The Dillstraße apartment building in Hamburg's university district wins first prize for Building of the Year 2022!
Various plans failed in the past due to the highly complex planning task for this small residual plot. In the period from 2019, thanks to the perseverance of the client, a small architectural gem was created on the almost undevelopable site. The architects' design had to consider the restrictions on all sides resulting from the cramped site situation with distance maintenance requirements from adjacent neighbouring buildings and the high demands of the innovative apartment layouts. The structural planning delivered a customised design for the spatial load-bearing structure.
