Guided tour: Modernised office building with tradition and a view.
02.06.2025 - 28/29 June is "Day of Architecture and Civil Engineering 2025". We invite all those interested to join us on a guided tour to see the freshly renovated Überseehaus through the eyes of a structural engineer.
Not all the structural changes to the Überseehaus can be seen from the street at Baumwall, the Elbe or the U-Bahn line. However, most of the shell construction work is already finished. Despite the very cramped site conditions and the unusual construction of the existing building, the work has gone almost without a hitch. Not least due to the intensive planning preparation, technical difficulties during the construction process have been avoided.
The new highlight of the building will follow in the summer, when the new façade that will give its character to the whole building will be installed on the upper floors.
