09.06.2023 - The reinforcement work on O`Swaldkai has begun.
The construction of the O`Swaldkai in section 33/15 is over 130 years old. It secures the area and access to "Kleiner Grasbrook" and should continue to do so for many years to come.
The historical gravity wall on a timber pile grid is to be reinforced by sloping micro grouting piles to counteract the increased loads - e.g. from tidal influences - and microbial decomposition of the timber pile foundation.
The specialist civil engineering work has begun and will be completed shortly. With our services in the building and structural planning of the reinforcement measures, we have contributed to making this historical construction stable again.
