09.02.2026 - One team, one success! Together with Wiegerinck (DE/NL), GRAFT Architects (Berlin), SLA Landscape Architects (DK/NOR) and Ingenieurbüro T. Wackermann (Hamburg), we have formed an international team with outstanding expertise in hospital construction. We are delighted to have received special recognition in the competition for the new BG Kliniken hospital in Hamburg.
Our proposal for the new BG Klinikum Hamburg building translates the functional requirements of hospital operations into a clearly structured architectural language that is simultaneously embedded into the landscape. The building volumes respond to the topography with a staggered height development and interweave with the surrounding green spaces, creating a harmonious overall impression.
The spatial concept is divided into three areas. The cell-like structures are clearly linked to each other, enabling efficient organisation and flexibility for future expansions.
