20.02.2025 - The shell construction work on the Überseehaus in Hamburg is largely complete. But one highlight is still missing...
Not all the structural changes to the Überseehaus can be seen from the street at Baumwall, the Elbe or the U-Bahn line, However, most of the shell construction work is already finished. Despite the very cramped site conditions and the unusual construction of the existing building, the work has gone almost without a hitch. Not least due to the intensive planning preparation, technical difficulties during the construction process have been avoided.
But the new highlight of the building is still missing. This summer, the new façade that will give its character to the whole building will be installed on the upper floors.
For this very demanding and highly complex construction project, the engineering firm INGENIEURBÜRO DR. BINNEWIES is responsible for the complete static planning as well as the execution planning for the reinforced concrete and steel construction.
