17.09.2024 - A modern police training centre is to be built in Hamburg Alsterdorf. We are pleased to be involved as structural engineers.
What is special about the project is that the Hamburg police are pursuing a forward-looking concept for the new academy building that provides maximum flexibility, with modern working and learning areas, efficient and digital room management. The campus is intended to serve as a place for learning, living and meeting. The design, by Gerber Architekten, promises an innovative layout with an atrium, a staggered courtyard, terraces, and seven above-ground floors plus two more underground. The building will cover an area of around 60 m x 45 m and will be up to 25 m in height.
Our role: structural engineering and building physics. The common goal is to create a modern and flexible training centre that will serve as a flagship for Hamburg’s police force.
